DJ Could Use Some Help

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about DJ, The Imagifriends and their awesome Mission.

DJ needs some help …

Where We’re At.

DJ and his awesome Mom, Miss Cindi, started the Imagifriends and their Mission of Awareness and Acceptance in July of 2011. They wanted to use DJ’s art and love of people to help people “Look and see things from a different point of view” when it comes to those with autism and other challenges, big and small, young and old.

Fast forward to the spring of 2023. Cindi was suffering from headaches, went to the doctor, and was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. The prognosis was not good, and Cindi lost her battle with cancer in August of 2023.

DJ and his Mom were inseparable, and together they had grown the Imagifriends and their Mission, speaking across the mid-Atlantic area (North and South Carolina along with Southern Virgina) at Autism conferences, schools, churches nalong with other small businesses.

With Cindi’s passing, the speaking engagements and Imagifriend merchandise sales all but stopped, created a serious financial situation for DJ, and his younger brother Josh, who has now become DJ’s caretaker.

With little to no income, their finaincial situation was dire.

In June of this year (2024), Team DJ was formed, and an official non-profit has been set up and Team DJ formed to help get DJ back to speaking and selling his artwork and books. The goal is to help DJ and his brother generate an income stream that will allow them to stay in their current apartment (DJ has been their for over 15 years!) and with everyday living expenses.
